Ceylon Literary & Arts Festival 2025: A Celebration of Words, Art, and Expression
Held at the iconic Colombo Public Library from January 17–19, the Ceylon Literary & Arts Festival 2025 (CLF) brought together a dynamic blend of literature, visual arts, film, and performance in the heart of the city. The festival featured over 30 engaging sessions with acclaimed local and international authors, artists, and creatives, drawing large crowds and creating space for meaningful conversation and cultural expression.
Empowering Sri Lanka’s Literary and Artistic Landscape
CLF 2025 played a key role in nurturing the literary and creative arts in Sri Lanka by:
- Supporting emerging talent through workshops and mentorship programs for aspiring writers and poets.
- Fostering cross-medium collaboration with art exhibitions, short film screenings, and music performances that complemented the literary focus.
- Promoting inclusivity by providing free access to students and young creatives from across the country, making the arts more accessible to all.
